So portable and easy to move around. I pull it out from under my bed and walk while watching TV at night!
Minhao W.
Pros:
-The materials used for this walking pad appear to be of high quality overall.
-The packaging was done with great care.
-It's simple to use overall.
-Easy to set up.
-It comes with screws to adjust the belt's tension.
Cons:
-I suspect due to the folding design, the noise level during use is somewhat higher compared to my friend’s non-folding version. I’ve loosened the belt and applied a full amount of lubricant right away, which noticeably reduced the noise, but it’s still a bit loud. I also noticed that walking towards the front of the machine produces almost double the noise compared to the back. (it gets better after 10 times usage)
-The walking area is a bit narrow, making it easy to accidentally step on the sides, which can cause you to lose your balance. This is something to be cautious of!
-When pausing the workout on the mobile app, it automatically ends after about a minute, and you can’t resume, so the data resets to zero.
-After folding, it can only be laid flat, not stored upright.
-There’s a very noticeable, large slanted seam at the folding point on the track.
-The auto function is not working for me. I’m using it on carpet, and I’ve heard it works better on hard floors, but I haven’t tested that myself.

This is an excellent walker to have on hand for getting in a solid walk in a super continent manner
John F W.
Easy to set up (though it was impossible to unbox without destroying the shipping box in the process. Maybe you could work on that?)
Have used it pretty much every day now, a good 30 minutes in the morning to get going, and another 30 min. during the day or early evening.
So far, so good!

The walking pad is great! It doesn’t take up too much space in my room. I am 6’0 tall (182cm) and I have plenty of space for long and short strides. The width concerned me a bit, but it’s quite wide to walk comfortably without having to look down and see whether you’ll step on the edge. If you do however walk outside the belt, you will not experience any friction or pain. You’ll slide with the belt and the speed will reduce ever so slowly. If you happen to walk slower than the speed of the treadmill, the drop at the end will hurt a bit. Make sure you have enough space behind the treadmill incase you do fall off.
Here are my cons and why I rated it 3 stars. You would expect this treadmill to come with a small bottle of lubricant considering you’re spending $700+ . I saw on YouTube that others received a bottle of lubricant. When unfolding the treadmill slowly, there’s always this strong knock-back that forces the treadmill to slam on the ground. I’ve attempted to open it much slower than normal and still occasionally receive this knock-back. For the foreseeable future, I don’t see myself purchasing another walking pad.

This is my second treadmill purchase. My first was a budget treadmill purchased direct from Amazon. I'm a fairly intense user - I weigh about 200 pounds and I used the treadmill at top speed (3.7 mph) about 2 hours a day sometimes. That usage was well within spec but the motor burned out anyway after only six months of use. The manufacturer sent me a new motor and a new controller. With both the new motor and controller, the pad couldn't develop enough torque to move me. With the old controller the motor burned out after about 3 days.
You could see, from that experience, why I would be reluctant to give a definitive review of this product after only a few weeks. Who know what will happen in 6 months? Nonetheless, I am quite pleased so far. The Walking Pad runs smoothly, it is fairly quiet (albeit not silent), and it doesn't seem to strain under my weight. I really like the Automatic mode. I can just step on, start to walk and then stop without fussing with the remote. It did get a little flakey at one point, but I restarted the device, and that seemed to clear up the behavior. The Walking Pad is a little narrow and a little short for my frame (6-3") but to be fair, it's about the same size as every comparable device in the price range. The display is a little annoying. It cycles through each stat individually, making it hard to focus on one in particular. You can get all the stats at once on the app, but then you are fussing with your phone while trying to walk and we all know how that works. All in all it's a solid 4 star rating. If it lasts more than six months, I might up that to a 4.5.
Jessica B.
I absolutely love my walking pad and the company stands behind their products. I can't recommend it enough!
ALEJANDRA T.
I like me walking pad so far: quality, runs nice and smooth, low noise... I do not like that is very heavy (I am strong), and very hard to move without a handle. I envisioned moving it around the house and it will not be possible. I has to stay in my office because it's hard to move (uncomfortable w/o handle).
H L.
My A1 worked very well for the first 6 months but as of late it makes a horrible noise when I use it. For the price, this is a real disappointment. I have messaged and emailed about a warranty and replacement but no one has responded. I cannot work and conduct meetings with this sound in the background. Please honor the warranty!
Jason P.
I love this so far!
Folds up to go under my desk when I'm not using it.
I can slide it out after I get my work done and walk while waiting for calls instead of sit and doom scroll
Amy K.
So far, so good! The set up was a breeze, although I can’t get the app to pair with my device, but the remote control is easy to use and works well. I’m storing my walking pad when not in use and it’s easy to fold and roll under the bed. The walking pad feels sturdy, and runs well. I can’t give it 5 stars yet because I’ve only used it a few times, but it’s starting off good.
Stephanie D.
I've had for less than two months and the internal mechanism that runs it seems to be broken. The power works, but it doesn't always "start and count down." At first I thought maybe it was the remote's battery, but the remote still shuffles through manual, auto settings so I think it's the chip. It's too heavy to send back so I'm not sure what to do at this point...waste of A LOT of money it seems.
Christine P.
Easy set up, excellent walking area and very sturdy piece of equipment.
I would recommend this product to everyone.
Nancy S.
Thanks I will begin to use it. It saves me a trip to Gym in clod weather!!
Sergio O.
Great Walking pad. I thought It would be noisy, but not at all, just the regular noise for a walking belt which is perfect if you wanna walk while working or watching TV. At the same time, It’s Cecy to work with a keyboard while walking on a moderate pace.
So far, I think it is a well invested money, and think this model of walking pad is perfect for under desk purposes. If what you are looking for is a walking pad You can use for walk and jog, You must jump to another model.
Amy G.
Love having it at my desk. It's very quiet. I can work and work out at the same time!
Amanda J.
The WalkingPad is high quality and easy to use.
Arnau E.
Works great, easy to fold.
Cynthia G.
Easy to set up.. Doesn’t take up any space.. Easy to understand directions..
convenient way to keep moving.. I have a hip awaiting surgery… Sitting is my enemy. The walking pad keeps more moving during My TV shows, while listening to a book or music….
5 Stars for sure
Christian O.
I've gone from getting 3,000 - 5,000 steps / day to 15,000+ while also feeling more engaged and energetic throughout the day. And the convenience of the WalkPad make it easy to move around and use in a lot of different settings.
Jason K.
The walking pad itself is great - good source of movement during the work day. However, the remote stopped working within the first week, and the walking pad support team has not yet responded to my message
Alex C.
It’s a lot hard to move around then I thought it would be. I wish it had some type of handle and way to lock the folding part so you don’t pinch your hands . Also I didn’t think about with foldable treadmill’s you can feel the seam when you are walking. It feels really weird. . If I could do it again . I wouldn’t buy a folding one . Everything else is great. Mainly really don’t like when you walk you can feel the seam
Megan B.
I'm a homebody and low impact exerciser. So, the idea of going to a gym to get on a treadmill to just walk isn't my ideal situation. I would be too concerned about people judging me on taking up a treadmill just to take my time at a leisurely pace. So, I bought the WalkingPad to alleviate some of my anxiety while allowing the freedom of working out at my level. I live in a small apartment, so having the option to fold it up and put it away is a great plus! Some cons is that it is a little heavy and awkward - I would have liked to see more versatile, 360 degree; side to side wheels. It's also a little on the loud side (but that could be from being in a small space). None of which are deal breakers. I have really enjoyed having a safe space to get my walk on!
Tim R.
A co-worker recommended the WalkingPad A1 pro, and I made the $651.11 investment via the Amazon WalkingPad store ten months ago. It's been a hit-or-miss experience.
When the A1 Pro works, it's wonderful, and until recently, I was able to get 2-4 miles in a few times a week.
However, there are some buyer-beware nuances:
The remote stopped working after a couple of uses. Replacing the battery or attempting to make the recommended syncing updates has not addressed the issues.
As a backup and the only other way I could figure out how to use the treadmill, I started using the KS Fit iOS mobile app synced via Bluetooth. It's super basic but works if you're patient and have low expectations.
The treadmill belt requires adjustments as it slips. It's super easy to adjust, and I feel the slipping is 100% reasonable during normal use.
Here's the real kicker and deal breaker for me if I could do it all over again. Four of five of the last four attempts to walk ended in a very abrupt and jarring locking of the treadmill at 1.75 mpg in manual mode. I feel that this is a safety issue and cause for concern and potential recall.
I'm hardly a pro athlete but in decent shape and under 190 lbs. The most recent locking has led me to fall onto my hand and wrist.
I've contacted the KingSmith support team, but feeling skeptical after this initial response:
"We have provide your order information and mail to our Amazon team. They will follow up,please notice the mailbox."
I've not heard back after checking in again twice, nor did they provide a support ticket number. I even checked my SPAM mailbox to be sure I didn't miss their note.
I did buy an extended warranty via Amazon's Asurian service, but they won't help, given the A1 Pro is still under the one-year manufacturer's warranty.
Michael E. P.
I think it’s a great device for getting yourself in shape and keep moving
Melanie H.
After slowly walking through the required .6 mi to unlock higher speeds, I’m having a blast using my new favorite exercise device! Great product. Love how it folds and hides away.
Amber M.
Perfect for what it’s for, love it!
Heather M.
I ordered it over a month ago and still have not received. This first one I had broke and instead of replacing it, they offered to send me parts and repair myself (it was not an easy repair!), which I’ve been had to return and re-purchase (in which customer support didn’t even offer a promo code for the inconvenience). Looking forward to having it but still can’t write a review although I continually keep getting asked to so, here it is. Beware when purchasing customer service is not very helpful.
Mack
I wish I didn't buy this item, in part due to the design construction and in part due to how difficult the return process with customer service has been. The A1 pro arrived in a box that was already extremely worn down from transit (holes and tears in the cardboard), which made it even more difficult to tape back up when I decided to immediately return it. When I requested a new box from Walking Pad, they told me to find one at FedEx. (I went to two stores to find a replacement and was told this box size is not standard; they didn't carry it.) In addition, Walking Pad charges about $80 to return this item which seems unreasonable, given that it is far heavier and difficult to operate than the videos suggest. Given how heavy it is, this walking pad is built for occasional folding; the bottom also thunks heavily when unfolded on hard flooring. Overall, customer service has extremely delayed in addressing this return and this experience has felt like a significant waste of time and money.
Khalil F.
It has never shipped. Ordered about 3 weeks ago. emailed and got no response
Laura O.
My husband and I work long hours. Having this low profile machine is wonderful. We can quickly hop on and get our steps in. The size is perfect. I do wish it would stand up when folded the be out of the way but it is still smaller than most. A hand bar would be nice for stability moments but we have it close to a counter for the times we need a little assist. Comparatively affordable & arrived very quickly. Only negatives are the app and “user manual” really need editing and updating.
Sebastian B.
it's a game changer for me. I've burned about 2000 calories in the last couple of weeks since getting it, and I truly feel better. I expect this sounds like a shill review, because that's how it would probably read to me, haha. But yeah, I'm pretty happy. I previously used an old school treadmill ,which I built a desk for, but it wasn't the same, as I didn't have my multiple monitors. Having this guy under the desk, though, is awesome. And it's easy for me to move out of the way when I'm done walking/standing.
Jordan H.
The Walking Pad has revolutionized my work from home life. Being able to walk on meetings has made me feel more productive as well as helped me get more steps in throughout the day. Overall best purchase I could have made!
LARA S.
Dissatisfied, says it has top speed of 3.75.
When is says it is at that speed, it’s really really slow. more like 2.5….. not happy
Elaine T.
This wasn't the best experience and I'm still waiting for my money back. I used this for about 30 seconds or so before I noticed the belt shifting to the left as I walked. I could not adjust it to move the belt to the center and instructions weren't very helpful nor was customer service. I'd like another bit honestly have a brand new one I cane even use so why would I consider spending more money here? Save your money. Do not purchase this product.
Candace F.
I got this since I’m a college student and don’t really have much space. I was able to store this under my bed and it allows me to walk my five miles every day!! I’m also a bit heavy but even though the weight limits 250ish I can still use it.
Ann B.
It only took me a few minutes to set my treadmill up and start using it. I think I'm going to love it! It gets miserably hot here in the summer and being able I walk indoors is going to be wonderful. It's heavy, but I was able to move it to the area in front of my tv without much trouble. I worried that I would have trouble walking without a handrail (I'm 68) but so far, it seems fine. I was able I manage 3 mph after the initial setup walk! This is going to be great!
Nalani L.
It is compact and easy to store. I use it almost everyday. Doesn't make too much noise. Love it, highly recommend it.
Vanessa D.
So easy to walk while working!
Kelsey D.
I love my walking pad so much! I work from home and this has enabled me to walk 15,000-20,000 steps a day! My body loves the movement. It’s so quiet, I can take work calls or attend meetings and no one can hear the treadmill in the background. It was so easy to set up as well.
Lyn L.
I wasn't sure what to expect from a folding treadmill. I've never used one before.
It's incredibly solid and feels very stable when I'm walking. I'm not going super fast, usually 2 mph or so since I use it while in meetings. It fits well under my desk, and I can fold it and roll my chair back in under a minute.
Very happy with it!
Jason M.
Wish I'd bought mine sooner! I've talked about upgrading to an adjustable desk (Seated and Standing) and finally did it to be able to get a walking pad. Today is my first day, I've been on back to back Zoom meetings all morning and in three hours have walked over 500kcals, zero fatigue, back ache or posture issues whereas I'd normally be glued to my chair. Absolutely worth the investment! The product is very well designed, smooth and simple to operate and quiet. I do think my neighbours are amused watching me walk on the spot but I put that down to jealousy based on the results.
Amanda W.
I’ve had it a week and couldn’t love it more. Already got an extra 15 miles of walking in during work hours, without missing a beat!
Thomas L.
As a 75-year-old 'walker', I was looking for something that would allow me to walk inside during inclement weather, without costing too much. A newspaper mention of the Walk Pad caught my eye, so I investigated and purchased. It is everything I had hoped it would be for me! I only use it in the "manual mode", and I love the control I have over speed. I don't need anything faster than what my WPA1F Pro offers. Setup was okay; some directions could have been more specific, I thought. I do need to hang on to something when I'm walking, and I'm considering buying the stability bar offered. I do have some questions about surface-cleaning and "oiling" frequency, but I am very, very pleased with the product and what it's done for my walking routine. Thanks!!
Chris T.
Works great, zero complaints. App required for initial setup and then can just use the remote by itself. Can slightly feel the crease where the fold occurs, but actually a good thing because that helps me know exactly where I'm positioned on the treadmill (i.e. stay centered while I watch TV or work on my computer). The max speed is about as fast I would walk want to walk for long periods of time. No overheating even when using it at max speed for 60+ minutes. Width of walking area is just right for me and length is more than adequate (I'm 5'10"). I did a lot of research on walking treadmills and am very happy I settled on this one. I highly recommend it.
Peggy W.
The walking pad is addicting. I work from a home office and use it durning my meetings. Amazing how many steps you can get in durning a 30 min. call.
Lauren E.
Perfect for my work setup. I can easily fold and move it out of the way when I want to sit. It's a little louder than I'd hoped, but doesn't really matter because I don't use it during calls. I recommend!
Wendy D.
Buyer beware, this company does not honor its return policy. I reported them to consumer protection.
penny s.
Love this WalkingPad!! So happy I took the plunge and purchased one. I highly recommend this...
Just for information, I am a senior lady. I enjoy feeling safe and out of the elements but get my steps in. On sunny days I will go outside for my walk but this WalkingPad is great.
This is a little heavy but I can move it around as needed.
Gina B.
Hrm, loved this at first because of the small footprint and was so excited when I got it. However, after a few uses there is a loud noise that kicks in. And here recently after using it for several weeks, the remote is faulty. I have to open the back, wiggle the battery, for it to work. On top of that which is the most serious issue is a safety issue: the belt started jerking and I nearly fell when I was walking at 3 mph when it just stopped all of sudden on its own. I am lucky I was able to grab the counter and I could have seriously hurt myself. I’m now too scared to go at the higher speed which sucks a million. The machine continues to stop all of a sudden on its own and I can’t seem to figure out why it’s doing this.
Jennifer T.
The treadmill is so perfect for walking and working. With my standing desk, I can walk for an hour, get lots of work done, and hit my 10k step goal for the day with ease!
helena m.
Came cracked and sent the company an email and they did not respond.
Lisa A.
Game changer? Love this walking-pad. Using for 2 weeks and cannot live without it. . Works excellent, right out of the box. Love!
Shari A.
The Walking pad does what it is supposed to do. It’s an alternative to walking outdoors when working or in inclement weather. It folds easily and stores under my bed. It’s tricky at first, and took a bit to figure out how to get the speed up to 3.75mph. The belt does misalign with use but it’s an easy fix. Wearing good walking shoes is a must. I bought this on sale with a coupon. Otherwise I’d say $650 is way too much for a walking pad. I do wish it was a little longer and wider. I’m 5’ 3” so for me it isn’t as bad as for my husband and older kids. They have a longer stride than I do. I feel as if I’m not taking as long of a step because of the length. Therefore, my back hurt after the first use. I have become friends with this pad only because I don’t want to pay shipping to return it. Personally, I would rather have purchased a full-sized treadmill, but I don’t have the extra space right now.
Natalie C.
Wish it said before purchase that it can’t be used on a carpet, like a real treadmill can. I had to buy a mat to put down, an extra piece to get out /put away each time I want to walk. Also, the system to use (app & remote control) are a bit buggy at times. I do like that I can fold it up to move it, but it’s definitely heavier than I expected.
Kaitlyn B.
The perfect treadmill for casual walkers! During the cold minneaota winters I miss all the steps I get in brewery hopping and walking around the lakes — this treadmill is quiet and small and perfect for using at home! I’ve been walking 5 miles per day since I got it and am obsessed!!
Patricia H.
I like it but I'm getting more steps on it than what my fit bit shows...not sure why
and your age limit kinda made me sad, I'm 63 and Im ok walking on it
Allison K.
This is amazing! What an efficient machine. I can easily fold it and put it away as needed. And it works perfectly with a standard height standing desk. Love it!
Amanda R.
Product is louder than the videos showed, it’s very possible it needs to be oiled however this should come oiled.
I would never be able to use this while working on calls. My husband can easily hear this across the house and is as loud as a normal treadmill.
Virginia B.
Great treadmill for a small space! My "home office" is in the corner of my living room, so it was important to me to get something that could be tucked away easily. This product really fits the bill, and I can have my desk set up to walk or put back together to sit in about a minute. I have been on a few Teams calls while using the treadmill and my coworkers have not been able to hear it, which is a big plus as well. I agree with other reviewers that the app could use some improvement and doesn't always sync properly, but that's not a huge deal to me. Excited to continue to get more movement in my day with my walking pad!
Jan S.
Fits perfectly under my desk when not in use!
Jeffrey M.
Easy to use, great size, seems sturdy.
Kristin S.
The WalkPad was super easy to set up and it fits beautifully in my room-easy to pull out and stow away. It's quiet enough to not disturb my kids sleeping in the next couple of rooms, especially compared to traditional treadmills. This is perfect for getting exercise without needing to go through the hassle of dressing for warmth in winter. Very pleased so far.
Nicole H.
We still have not received two of the walking pads that we ordered.
Maria L.
Very happy with my walking pad. Easy to move and compact when I need to put away. I was a bit concerned that the wheels were not going to work well, but it moves very well on my carpet. It arrived in perfect condition. Also, making adjustments to the treadmill band is easier than expected and adding oil to the treadmill is not difficult. The Pad is very quiet. I did not use the app to unlock the walking pad, I just had my daughter unlock it. I did have to purchase the oil separately. I purchased the oil on Amazon. Overall my daughter and I have been super happy with the walking pad.
Peggy S.
The walking pad A1 was delivered in good condition. Easy to setup and activate through the app and it was pretty much exactly as you see on the website. The product is good quality, less bulky then a treadmill, easy to tuck out of the way when not in use. All in all I’m very impressed with my purchase.
Hayley S.
Compact and works great in my small space. A little louder than expected when in use. Have had two occurrences where pad has shutdown while walking and abruptly stopped, nearly causing injury/damage to desk & equipment. [Reason for 3 stars.]
Caitlin Kenderes D.
I've had my WalkingPad A1 Pro Foldable Under Desk Treadmill for about 1.5 months. On average I have used it 4x per week for 2 hours at a time. I am disappointed with the quality of the walking belt. Despite lining up the belt in the middle prior to each walking session the belt has still begun to fray on the one side. I've tried to clean them up to hopefully prevent any further fraying but every time I use the treadmill new frays start. For the price point of this treadmill, I would expect better quality.
Doris H.
Quick delivery, great customer service and support, great walking pad!
I really love how easy it is to set it up and get started right away. It's really quiet and easy to fold it up and move it around.
Shelmine M.
It's great, easy to set up! Meet my daily steps even while working!
Michael Q.
Still trying to measure the accuracy of data
Owen E.
I purchased the A1 Pro at the end of May, and it has worked flawlessly. I use it at work, for an hour or so every other day. When folded, it is very compact. In fact, I am using it while writing this review (3250 steps, 1mi, 41 mins so far). The app isn't great, and could definitely use work, but I didn't purchase the A1 Pro for the app. :-) Definitely recommend!
Ariel W.
This has been a terrible experience. The first walkingpad made loud noises when it started and slowed down so I talked to customer service and was told that I couldn't have one sent before returning my current bad product. I purchased a new walkingpad and that one starting smoking and sparked when I tried turning it on after two days of mild use. I am a Healthcare Professional and will never recommend this product. However, your customer service, Dancy more specifically, is exceptional.
christopher s.
Walking and working is great!
Bonnie P.
I work a lot and don't get enough exercise and a friend mentioned this to me. I walk about 2 miles a day right now on and off with my new WalkingPad A1 Pro. I am able to fold this up under my desk and sit down. This is perfect for me as I have had two back surgeries and working to get back into exercising and it makes work a lot more fun and very doable!
Kelly M.
I’m soooo glad I bought this waking pad. It fits perfectly in my living room, tucked away where company cannot see it. I’m able to walk and watch tv every evening. It’s sturdy, comfortable, easy to use, and overall just perfect!!!!
Linda B.
I'm still getting used to walking on my WalkingPad. Set up was easy.
Ian L.
It does what I wanted it to and the Apple Health export for calories and steps is great. I had the belt slip to the side once and it made a terrible noise. But after adjusting the belt with the included hex wrench it has worked fine again.
Susan H.
My first order came with a tear on the surface you walk on. It took several weeks to work out a replacement all via email because the department that handles this is out of the USA and in a different time zone. Finally we worked out the replacement and I received a non-defective product. I do like the WalkingPad and the handrail.
Jerilyn V.
Using it under my stand up desk everyday. Love getting extra movement in! The only thing that bugs me is that the Health app doesn’t sync up so I never get the step count on my watch. Otherwise I love it!
Lisa M.
Exactly what I was looking for! Quick shipping and friendly service. Although compact, it is a bit heavy.
kirana N.
Easy to set up, remote works well.
Comfortable walking, quadrupled my walk during working hours.
Michael P.
Truly love using this every day while working all day. I am either sitting or walking at my standing desk while using this. Generally every couple of hours or less my Apple Watch indicates I should stand, and I do so ... just walking on the walking pad instead! It is going to be hard to go back into the office everyday...
I would say that it would be nice if it had a way to link to the exercise app on your watch/iPhone, as I get over 5,000 steps in during two back to back meetings without even barely noticing, but my Apple Watch doesn’t register it as I typing at my standing desk. The only problem is not being able to store it on its side or vertically. So make sure you have room to put it somewhere when you are done at the end of the day.
Robert G.
The day I received the Walking pad A1Pro I send a complaint to support email. I still have not heard back as it has been almost 3 weeks. The belt on the treadmill came in out of calibration severely directed to one side. The issue is when you turn the treadmill on to try and calibrate it chewed one side of the belt leaving it frayed.
So the belt is damaged but after calibrating the treadmill does serve the purpose intended for use.
Annalyn A.
Resulted in taking the drastic measures route ~ I think I would *love it more* if I someone actually responded to my emails
Annette R.
Love it so much!
Brian B.
The walking pad is a great product. I am a runner who needs to keep moving through the day. I use the walking pad to keep from tightening up at work at my standing desk. I have seen a big improvement in recovery. The folding capability is very unique and is a must for me. Very well made and the company has great customer support.
Janet T.
If you're looking for a walking treadmill for your standing desk, this is a great choice. I use it daily!
Raymond B.
100% satisfied. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Tucked away nicely. Exactly what I needed.
